Brooke Sets the Standard for Our Organization

QCB Events is growing, and we’re seeking ambitious professionals for several entry-level positions. As we start the recruiting and interviewing processes, we’d like to let our potential colleagues know what a great organization this is. We could think of no better way to do this than to highlight the career journey of our Director of Operations, Brooke.

When asked how she got started in experiential marketing, Brooke says, “After I moved from Ohio to Dallas, I decided to take a chance and give QCB Events a try. I wasn’t sure what I wanted out of life at the time, but I knew that I wanted something different.”

Brooke went on to tell us what her biggest challenge was as a new marketer. “I would say the most challenging part was getting comfortable talking to strangers. My coach at the time worked with me a lot and really brought me out of my shell.”

Her suggestion to anyone looking to overcome this particular obstacle? “Practice makes perfect! The more you talk to people, the easier it becomes. Also, be yourself.”

Regarding the characteristics she’s seeking in a candidate, Brooke stated, “I am looking for individuals who are upbeat, energetic, and excited about learning and growing. QCB Events is a great place for someone who wants something different – and I mean that in the best way – from a career.”
